| Students got to to carve a pumpkin! Every student came up and scooped out some of the pumpkin guts. While doing so, they used their five senses to describe what they smelled, felt, heard, and saw! They filled in their observations on a graphic organizer! |
Students listened as Ms. Huber read aloud a story called "Bony Ben" in which she wrote herself! Throughout the story, students got to to stick their hand into brown paper bags to feel the parts of the story. They got to feel Bony Ben's eyes, teeth, hair, nails, blood, etc. After the story, students got to guess what foods acted as the body parts! The laughter and smiles were contagious in the cafeteria. |
